About Wave AI LLC
We build AI-powered entertainment apps for iOS, and we publish and support them ourselves.
The company
Wave AI LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. We are an independent mobile app developer: we write the software, run the infrastructure, publish to the Apple App Store, and handle our own customer support and marketing. We do not do agency or contract work for other companies, and we do not license our technology to third parties.
Our published app is DND AI, available on the Apple App Store.
What we build
We build consumer entertainment apps where generative AI is the product rather than a feature bolted onto it. In DND AI, the AI is the dungeon master: it writes the adventure as the player moves through it, plays the characters they meet, generates the artwork and maps, and applies the rules. The categories we work in are technology and entertainment, and the two are inseparable in what we ship — the quality of the model pipeline is what determines whether the game is fun.
Across our work that means three kinds of generation: text (narration, dialogue, rules answers), images (character portraits, battle maps), and short video (cinematic scenes built from a character image and a prompt).
How we build it
We are a small team and we keep the stack deliberately narrow. Our apps are written in TypeScript with React Native and Expo. Authentication, the database, serverless functions, analytics, and crash reporting run on Firebase. Model inference for images and video runs through Fal.AI and Google Cloud. Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Photos that users submit for character generation are transmitted for processing and deleted once the result has been returned. We do not use them for advertising, we do not sell them, and we do not train models on them. Where we operate
Wave AI LLC operates from the United States and serves users primarily across North America. Distribution is through the Apple App Store, and our apps are localized in English, German, and Turkish. Our Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming.
How we market our apps
We handle our own marketing through social accounts that Wave AI LLC owns, publishing organic photo carousels and short videos about our apps. To decide what to publish next, we are building an internal content-performance tool that reads the engagement metrics of our own posts. It connects only to our own accounts, through the platform's OAuth authorization flow; the data is used solely for our internal content planning, is never sold or shared with third parties, and is deleted when an account is disconnected.
